By downloading, installing, or using StackCheck ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
StackCheck is a mobile application that helps users track their food intake and supplements to understand their nutritional profile. The App uses AI-powered image recognition to identify foods and estimate nutritional content.
Not Medical Advice
Important: StackCheck is for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice. The nutritional information, recommendations, and insights provided by the App are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or supplement regimen. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by StackCheck.
Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate nutritional information, the App's AI-powered food recognition and nutrient calculations are estimates and may not be completely accurate. Factors that can affect accuracy include:
- Photo quality and lighting conditions
- Portion size estimation
- Variations in food preparation
- Limitations of nutritional databases
You should not rely solely on StackCheck for critical health decisions.
User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App
- Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free features
- Resell or redistribute the App or its content
Subscriptions and Payments
StackCheck offers both free and premium (Pro) features. Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play or Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to their respective terms and payment policies.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund policies are governed by Google Play or Apple App Store terms.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by StackCheck and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackCheck and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Health issues arising from reliance on App information
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Actions taken based on nutritional recommendations
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
